Stories are passed down through the generations about how the occupying Romans decimated the ruling Druid class of England. The Druid healers, with unexplainable powers, those thought of as witches, gave the Romans credence to destroy the Orders of the Druids. In more recent times, the presiding church once again strikes out against them, keeping their numbers small. Now there is only one Druid Priestess bold enough to set up shop to heal anyone who seeks her magical elixirs.

Closer to the Monarchy, the King of England has enjoyed peace for over a decade until a threat of a Norman invasion arrives, bringing panic to the royal family just as the princess is coming of age to marry. The Princess feels the turmoil of uncertainty about her future, giving rise to much unrest within her. She secretly seeks the wisdom of her grandmother’s spirit when such issues present themselves. But with the new threat to her father’s throne, the princess must venture out and face a new way of life she was never prepared for.

No matter their willingness, the Princess and the Druidess confront the medieval mischief as it reveals itself. They do not always recognize the benefits of these trials; nonetheless, they strengthen their courage and mystical abilities to face the advancing dangers and deceptions ahead. News of the uprising of supreme druidic powers spurs hope within the Druid Orders for a new beginning. The Druidesses must walk a fine line, tempering those hopes, knowing their powers may never overthrow a kingdom of knights and soldiers but may help safeguard humanity as a whole in this realm and beyond.
